Yes, and a wood-look floor tile would be ideal here because it combines the beauty of natural wood with functionality. This has such a broad color palette, you can get anything from gray wood looks, so prevalent in farmhouse-style, to darker, more traditional shades and barn door weathered looks. These tiles are true-to-life, with raised grains and textures, and can be cut into any size planks.

Tile planks work just as well in other styles, including contemporary, mid-century modern, bohemian, minimalist, California coastal, and cottage decors.

Your imagination only limits you

The bottom line is to create your unique expression of personal style and, in our tile store, you'll find a large assortment from brands like Daltile, Mohawk, Marazzi, Interceramic, and others.

There are many interior design plans, and they often borrow elements from each other. For example, mid-century modern has some touches of retro and minimalist design; rustic is often used interchangeably with farmhouse or organic, and bohemian has elements of today's current Biophilia style with a little rustic mixed in.

Here are two more we often hear about:

Classic/traditional

Some call it timeless, others say it's traditional, but no matter what you call it, these tiles often come in neutral colors with classic patterns like grids mosaics. They are subtle, elegant, and use time-honored materials that have been used for decades, such as terracotta, concrete, or stone. These designs include vintage, octagon, herringbone patterns; horizontal and checkered arrangements; basketweaves, and historical methods.

Contemporary

Contemporary is fluid, not referring to any specific period but, instead, what's trending right now. Currently, our tile shop is displaying sculpted patterns, soft lines, large formats, and glass mosaics. Since the new year is just around the corner, that will be Biophilia, referring to anything that reminds us of nature such as florals, fauna, foliage, pastels, jungle prints, etc. Wallpaper effects, murals, earthy neutrals, bright, happy colors like yellow and bold patterns like geometrics are also currently popular.

At Jamie's Carpet shop, we find our customers telling us they love tile flooring for its stunning visuals, durability, great versatility, stain resistance, hygienic qualities, and easy care.
